Dear members and friends of the SFE²,
We are launching the 2018 SFE² Photo Competition in the frame of the International conference of the French Society for Ecology & Evolution (Sfécologie2018), as we did 2 years ago in Marseille for Sfécologie2016.
The deadline for the submission of photos is September 18, and you will find the rules and registration form  as attached files.

Excerpts of the Rules :

1 – The contest
The French Society for Ecology and Evolution (SFE2; www.sfecologie.org) organises this competition to enable any photographer to contribute to the diffusion of scientific ecology via the communication tools of the SFE.

2 – Suggested themes
Theme 1 – Living organism. Original look on an organism, its behaviour or anything linked with an aspect that characterises it.
Theme 2 – Ecosystem. Original look on an ecosystem, if possible clearly showing relations between its components.
Theme 3 – Human-Nature relations. Original look on the way Society and Nature interact.
Theme 4 – Science in action. Original look on the practice of ecology.

7- Schedule
·      September 18: Deadline to send photos to sfe.concoursphotos@gmail.com
·      September 20: Validation of photos by the board of SFE2
·      From Oct. 22 24: Vote during the Sfécologie2018 conference (Rennes).
·       Oct. 25: Result announcement during the Closing ceremony

8 – How to apply
Send your pictures (limited to one photo per theme) and your registration form to sfe.concoursphotos@gmail.com before September 7 with “SFE Photo competition 2018” as object. The format and file names must be in accordance with point 11. Submission of a photo without the filled registration form will not be accepted.
