The « Ecologie & Agriculture » working group of the Société Française d’Ecologie is pleased to announce the first conference « Ecologie & Agriculture Summit for Young scientists » (https://colloque.inra.fr/easys/). This entirely-free conference will be held from March 22 to 24, 2017 at the Centre d’Etudes Biologiques de Chizé (Deux-Sèvres).
It will provide a unique opportunity for Ph.D. students and post-doctoral researchers to present their research work and exchange knowledge on several topics including the conservation of biodiversity in farmlands, the functioning of agro-ecosystems or the engagement of citizens for sustainable agriculture.
We are also pleased to host four plenary speakers:
- Barbara Smith (Coventry University, responsable du groupe Agricultural Ecology de la Bristish Ecological Society)
- Anders Möller (Université Paris-Sud);
- David Kleijn (Wageningen Univeristy & Research);
- Johan Six (ETH Zurich, );
and to organize an additional conference of Bruno Latour.
To present your work at EASYs, abstracts will have to be submitted between December 15, 2016 and January 15, 2017 to easy.conference2017@gmail.com (conference limited to 60 participants).
Free registration but transportation costs are taken care of by participants.
