We have a PhD position available in evolutionary ecology, at NTNU, Norway.
The post is part of a project funded by the European Research Council, which has the overall aim of understanding joint spatial and seasonal eco-evolutionary dynamics.
The aim of the PhD position will be to use a large multi-year capture-mark-recapture dataset to look at links between dispersal and seasonal migration in partially migratory European shags.
The position will provide full training in advanced statistical analyses, with opportunities to contribute to quantitative genetic analyses, theoretical modelling and fieldwork depending on interests.
It’s a fully-funded four-year position, which includes research, courses and teaching components.
The position is open to any nationality conditional on meeting standard European educational requirements (i.e. a 3-year bachelor degree and a 2-year MSc, or another equivalent level of education and/or experience). The working language will be English.
