Présentation générale

The National network ‘GREEN-omics’ (Genomics Research for Eco-Evolution and eNvironment) aims to acquire a holistic vision of the biodiversity of the world around us. The network aims to promote common knowledge of ecosystems by facilitating the meeting of researchers working in different environments (e.g., marine, freshwater, terrestrial) and working at different scales of space and time. The scientific gravity center of GREEN-omics embeds research on microorganisms, holobionts, multicellular organisms, in interaction with their environment using -omics approaches (i.e., based on molecular sequences) to describe ecological processes and evolving. RT GREEN-omics is interested in the different dimensions of biodiversity and therefore embraces taxonomic, functional, metabolic diversity, the diversity of interactions, but also molecular systematics, population genomics to the extent that they are linked to environmental communities.
