PhD position studying adaptation to climate in forest tree species – Penn State University
The Leites Quantitative Forest Ecology Lab at Penn State University is recruiting a student to start a PhD program in Fall 2022, working on ecological genetics and modeling population responses to climate in forest tree species. Applicants should have strong quantitative skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, be highly motivated, and committed to an inclusive and supportive environment. The selected student will have the opportunity to work in collaboration with our national and international colleagues, and with federal and state agencies. Our lab provides an intellectually rigorous and stimulating environment where we strive to be inclusive and welcoming so that all members can achieve their academic and professional goals.
