Please find attached a 6-month internship opportunity starting in March/April 2022 for a agronomy / ecology / food systems student to work on « Estimating the impacts of agricultural practices on biodiversity for use in spatially-explicit tools ». Our aim is to integrate individual experiments (from meta-analyses) and spatially explicit databases on agricultural system characteristics to estimate impacts of changing agricultural practices on biodiversity, and eventually identify trade-offs with a suite of agronomic and environmental objectives (e.g. crop yields, soil organic carbon, farm profitability). The position is funded by FABLE and will build on and contribute to ongoing work in the FABLE and Agri-TE projects.
