The Université du Québec à Rimouski (UQAR) invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position in Fish Ecology in the department of Biology, Chemistry, and Geography. We are seeking candidates with a Ph.D. in Biology (or the equivalent) and with training in Fish Ecology/Evolution/Conservation. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute significantly to teaching at the undergraduate and/or the graduate levels. He or she will be responsible for teaching ichthyology, limnology, and aquatic wildlife management. He or she will supervise graduate students, develop an active in research program, and contribute to all activities concerning the life of our Department and University.
We are looking for someone who can complement our departmental team working in Evolutionary Biology, Evolutionary Physiology, Molecular Ecology, Ecology and Conservation Biology, Global Change Biology and Paleontology. The appointed candidate will also have the opportunity to be part of the departmental research group BORÉAS working on various aspects of Northern research.
